FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Jr

Fiddler on the Roof - Brooklyn Children’s Theatre (BCT) Teen Players

The Broadway classic is performed by its most diverse cast – ever.  Middle and High School students, whose roots range from China, Colombia, the West Indies, and Albania,  skillfully emphasize the universal theme of “tradition” as they portray shtetl life, both hopeful and tragic. The teen players convincingly depict the  emotional and cultural upheaval of the residents of Sholom Aleichem’s Anatevka.   In the true spirit of Tikkun Olam, more than 60% of teen players participate on scholarship.  BCT’s newest teen production is a family friendly event.
