Chocolate Room Closes Shop This Weekend, Sets Up For Big Move

The Chocolate Room is staying in Park Slope, but this is the last weekend fans will be able to go to the popular shop at its original location at 86 5th Ave.

That shop will be closed for good at 11 p.m. Sunday as it transitions for a move to 51 5th Ave. The new shop will open in the coming weeks, but Park Slope chocolate lovers will be happy to hear that during the move there will be a place to get your fix.

Owner Naomi Josepher announced that they will be moving next door to 82 5th Ave. as a temporary retail shop with a target opening of Jan. 29. They will be offering all of their chocolates, confections, bars, baked goods, and special orders just in time forValentine's Day. 

Their website will provide updates on opening dates. And of course, the Cobble Hill Chocolate Room is still open at 269 Court St.
