The Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music was founded in 1897 and provides a space for private music lessons. Many of their 4000 students study classical and jazz music, but all styles of music are taught on a variety of instruments. A non-profit organization, its annual schedule consists of three trimesters and ample opportunity to form ensembles with other musicians.
