Story Time, Lefrak Center Opens and More This Weekend

What's happening this weekend in and around Park Slope.

- The Lefrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park officially opens Friday. Ice rinks and the cafe will be opened throughout the weekend.

- Project Playdate planned a fun, educational drop off kids pajama party at Kidville in Park Slope Friday at 6:30 p.m.

- Barry Bryson and the Swing Street Orchesta perform as part of the Prospect Concert Music Series, put on by the Park Slope Food Cooperative and the  Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture. The concert takes place at the Ethical Culture Center, 53 Prospect Park West (at 2nd Street). 

- Join young adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s for the Young Professionals Mass on Saturday December 21st at 5:30PM at the Church of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. 

- Meet acclaimed children’s book author Artie Bennett for an encore presentation of Sunday Story Time, Dec. 22, 11:30 a,m,, at Powerhouse on 8th, 1111 8th Ave. in South Slope.

- Join POGO Events as they join forces with the Brooklyn Museum to bring a series of scintillating scavenger hunts to their galleries Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
