Readings, Performances and More This Weekend

What's happening this weekend in Park Slope.

- Project Playdate plans fun, educational drop off playdates for children at participating play spaces and attractions around NYC. They will be hosting a kids pajama party at Kidville Park Slope Friday at 6:30 p.m.

- Park Slope Food Coop's Reading Series 'Wordsprout' continues Jan. 17, 7 p.m. Michael Moss. Moss goes inside his four year investigation of the processed food industry.

- Hiho Batik (184 5th Ave.) hosts a day of celebrating music with performances throughout the day by students of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music on Saturday at 11 a.m.

- The Brooklyn Music Shop Presents Phoebe Kreutz and The Lords of Liechtenstein Jan. 18 at Prospect Range (1226 Prospect Ave, Brooklyn). Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets cost $15.

- Catch Storytime with Lauren Castillo Jan. 19, 11:30 a.m. at POWERHOUSE on 8th. 

- Art on the Corner hosts Brooklyn Community Chorus, a volunteer mixed-chorus, almost 100 voices strong, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd (7420 4th Avenue) Jan. 19 at 3 p.m.
