Park Slope Agenda: Atlantic Antic, Tastings and Jazz

What's happening this weekend in and around Park Slope.

- Start the weekend off right with Wine and Watercolor Night at Court Tree Collective. Learn to paint watercolors and sip on some free wine, beginning Friday at 7p.m. for $20.

- The highly anticipated Atlantic Antic returns for its 39th year on Sept. 29 in downtown Brooklyn. The Atlantic Antic is one-mile-long on Atlantic Avenue, spanning over four neighborhoods from 4th Avenue to Hicks Street. It hosts over 500 local merchants and vendors, ten musical stages and an eclectic array of food, live music, dance performances, fine arts, crafts, kids activities and rides. 

Jazz Vespers is back on Sept. 29, with The Steven Kroon Latin Jazz Sextet at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 279 Lafayette Avenue.

- A signing of the new Franny cookbook by Francine Stephens, Melissa Clark, and Andrew Feinberg, with recipes prepared by Melissa Vaughan of The New Brooklyn Cookbook will be held at Powerhouse on 8th Avenue on Sept. 28.
