Comedy, Pottery and a Book Fair This Weekend

What's happening this weekend in and around Park Slope.

There's never a shortage of events in and around Park Slope during the weekends. Here are a few ideas to get your weekend planning started.

- Join a pair of writer-comedians as they invite their favorite writer-comedians
into a closed bookshop for a free night of stand-up, stories, and a few
drunken ramblings about their favorite books. Two-Book Minimum at the Community Bookstore (143 7th Ave) begins at 9:30 p.m Friday.

- Handmade porcelain pottery and silk scarves are available at the Claireware Pottery sale Saturday at 10a.m. Stock up on early holiday shopping and check out Clairewares new designs at 543 Union Street at the corner of Union and Nevins.

- SAT Weekend Bootcamp is for students who do not have time to schedule a full or intensive prep before their test day. This 12-hour SAT prep course takes place at 6 East 16th Street Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
