- Join Dan Farella, a forager, herbalist, and musician, for an insightful plant walk at The Brooklyn Permaculture Festival at The Old Stone House Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

- It's basketball season and the Brooklyn Nets look poised to make a run at the title. You can watch them live at the Barclays Center as they test their mettle early against the defending champion Miami Heat Friday at 8 p.m.
