- Expect a high in the 60's on Monday, with clear skies and a little wind.

- On Wednesday, join Brownstone Tutors and NYC Admissions Solutions for a special, free event for NYC middle school families. Maurice Frumkin, NYC Admissions Solutions and former official of the NYC Department of Education, will cover the top 10 ways to get into NYC public high schools and the common pitfalls made by many middle school students.

- Join Dan Rindler, director of Child'Space NYC, to learn techniques of touch for soothing, help with gas/digestion, and to support motor development for babies four months old and younger. Learn guidelines for beginning tummy-time and answer questions about your baby's development. The class takes place on Sept. 24 at 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

- Planning a stoop sale this weekend? Be on the lookout for our quick and easy form Monday to have yours added to our local stoop sale map.

- Did you go to the Vampire Weekend concert or the Devils-Islanders game? Share photos with us! Upload them to our Snapshots open blog.
