Elections and Comedy For a Cause This Week in Park Slope

What's happening this week in and around Park Slope.

A quick look at what's happening this week in and around Carroll Gardens.

1. It's Election Day Tuesday, and a new mayor will be elected for the first time in over a decade. Carroll Gardens voters can find all the information they need in our Voters Guide.

2. Alternate site parking is suspended on Election Day Tuesday. It is in effect all other days during the week.

3. After you vote Tuesday, head to The Rock Shop at 8 p.m. for The Imploding Hamburger free comedy show. Hosted by Patrick Ryan, the lineup includes Jared Laxer, Mark Lawrence and Anthony Kapfer.

4. Join T.E.A.L (Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer) -- a Park Slope-based nonprofit that spreads awareness and raises money for Ovarian Cancer -- for a night of laughter and fundraising at T.E.A.L.'s first ever Comedy Night. Comedian Ellen Karis will be joined by emcee Tom Ragu and Youtube sensation Vic Dibitetto.

5. After a summer hiatus, City Stomp has resumed its Wednesday dinner shows at Dizzy's Diner, 230 Fifth Avenue at President, in Park Slope.
