Four Dogs Urgently Need to be Adopted from Brooklyn Animal Foster Network!

If you can, give these beautiful pups a new home!

The Brooklyn Animal Foster Network needs help to find four dogs loving homes.

If you want to make this Memorial Day weekend memorable, take in any one of these pups.

The Brooklyn Animal Foster Network on 17th Street in Park Slope has fallen on tough times, and may close as early as June 30 if they do not receive enough donations.

In order to help save the coalition of families and residents who foster dogs and cats rescued throughout the borough, founder Laurie Bleier turned to crowd-funding and started an Indiegogo campaign.   Unfortunately, they have only raised $2,854—a mere 10 percent of their $30,000 goal.

Blake, Female, 1-2 years old, 68 lbs., Yellow Lab, HW Negative:

This girl is full of energy. She loves people, and is great with other dogs. She would be the perfect running partner. She would make a great addition to an active young family's home! Blake is nothing but happy and ready to play. She loves to run with other dogs. A really great temperament.

Gregg and Ashley Brother and sister do not need to go together.

Ashley, female, 1-2 years old, 68 lbs., Lab mix:

Ashley was found with her brother Greg wandering around looking for a place to go. Ashley and Greg are so sweet, friendly and love to give hugs.    VOLUNTEER NOTES 5/21: Ashley is very friendly and happy. She tried to escape from her kennel, but didn't want to go far. She just wanted to meet and greet her neighbors and see what else is going on. She is the socialite of the shelter. I imagine if she could, she would hold a tea party and be the gossip queen.

Greg, male, 2-3 years old, 68 lbs., Lab mix, (HW Positive):

Greg is very gentle boy, he has good doggy manners too. He was found as a stray with his sister Ashley; they were looking for somewhere to go. Hold is up 5/21, can be killed any time after that date. Greg is a good by. He looks a lot like a larger version, more masculine of Ashley. Greg has some scars on his nose and mouth. He is a timid fellow. We'd love to keep them together if possible.

Peter Max, male Lab mix, 50-60lbs., 2-3 years old:

Peter is just such a great dog so full of energy he just wants to jump and run and play. He wants to play with every four legged and two legged friend he sees. Please help Peter he needs rescue now!
