Passover Menu Ideas
There can be something wonderfully reassuring about sitting down to a dinner so traditional that you will know exactly what to expect. Each family has their own traditions and favorites. And this Passover menu has stood the test of time and families look forward to them year after year.
Passover (or Pesach) started yesterday at sundown and runs through April 2 at sundown. The eight-day festival of Passover commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery under the Pharaohs in ancient Egypt 3,300 years ago by God. It is also the mark of their birth as a nation under the leadership of Moses, as described in the book of Exodus in the Hebrew Bible.
