Rockettes Take to Park Slope for Christmas in August

The Radio City Rockettes will take to Park Slope to distribute "Rox Pop," a new cranberry-apple flavored ice pop created by local ice pop company People's Pops.

It's never too early for Christmas.

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Radio City Rockettes will take to Park Slope to distribute "Rox Pop," a new cranberry-apple flavored ice pop inspired by the Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular, and created by local ice pop company People's Pops.

Before making their way to the Slope, the Rockettes and Santa Claus will unveil a unique ice sculpture inspired by the show under the Radio City marquee. Following the unveil, a Christmas themed food truck and bus, along with the Rockettes, will travel to various New York City locations distributing the ice pops and then will finally make its way to the Union Street store.

From 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Brooklyn families can take photos with the Rockettes. There will also be interactive and social opportunities for fans to engage with the Rockettes and win a variety of prizes. From Aug. 14 through the end of the season in October, “Rox Pops” will be available for purchase at People’s Pops’ Park Slope store.

People's Pops is located at 808 Union St., at Seventh Avenue.
