5 Instagrams That Prove Gowanus Is the Happiest Place on Earth
Yesterday we told you about local designer Jeff Anzulewicz's Magic Kingdom-inspired photo of our local canal. These Instagrams from the past few days were all taken at on-site, and they show why the canal really is a source of beauty for locals.

Here is Anzulewicz's Magic Kingdom-inspired photo of our beloved Gowanus.
1. Because you look great in (what is probably) a Mickey Mouse shirt in front of it.
2. Because anyone in a canoe on the Gowanus looks like a photojournalist going down the Congo River.
3. Because the locals work to dress it up.
4. Because the industrial lights never turn off, and at night it looks like a Michael Mann film.
5. Because on a summer day from the right angle, it really is beautiful.
