The Class One Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) kids program is the perfect tool to instill discipline, leadership, commitment, responsibility, and good sportsmanship in your child’s life. Our mission is to help children develop active, positive lifestyles.
Your child will learn three different styles of martial arts: Muay Thai, Boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Muay Thai kickboxing is the national sport of Thailand. It is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” or the “Science of Eight Limbs” because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight “points of contact”.
Boxing, otherwise known as the “sweet science”, is a combat sport in which two people engage in a contest of strength, reflexes, and endurance by throwing punches at an opponent with gloved hands.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art focusing largely on grappling and ground fighting. Translated as “the gentle art,” Brazilian jiu-jitsu focuses on using strength and technique in the most efficient way possible to control and overcome opponents of greater size, strength and aggression.
The children’s program will be taught by world professional champions Luis Azeredo and Jill Emery, as well as one of the Class One owners, Ken Ng. Check out their bios at http://c1mma.com/trainers/
