2nd Annual CAPP Safe Kids 5K

Put your best foot forward and help end the cycle of child abuse on Saturday, April 23 when The Child Abuse Prevention Program proudly presents its 2nd Annual CAPP Safe Kids 5k.  Be one of the 400-500 walkers/runners expected to trek through Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, paving the way to a brighter future for New York City’s youth. If the thought of a 5k is enough to send you running for the hills, show your support from the sidelines. The event will also feature a kid’s fun run, family friendly activities, refreshments and live music. Funds raised will directly support CAPP’s Child Safety Workshop, the only educational program that uses life-sized puppets to teach kids in New York City how to recognize, resist and report physical & sexual abuse.
