Infant massage: 5 week series

Infant massage is an ancient practice throughout the world and like most time-honored practices, it has survived the passage of time because it provides many wonderful benefits for both you and your baby. Studies have shown that babies who are massaged generally sleep better and show improved cognitive and motor skills, relief from gastrointestinal and teething discomforts, improved bonding and less stress… and this is just the beginning! During this massage series, you will learn how to give your baby a full massage. You will also learn about your baby's behavioral states, cues, reflexes, how you may massage to relieve gas or colic and much more. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with other parents in the community. This workshop is appropriate for babies who are newborn up to 12 months of age. One, or both parents must attend with baby. Space is limited, so don't wait to register!
