Film Screening and Discussion on Redistricting

The New York State Senate is preparing to redraw districts. To learn what this means will mean for Brooklyn, check out a  screening at 6pm of the documentary Gerrymandering, followed by a discussion at 8pm on the topic of redistricting with Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries (who also appears in the film), Senator Daniel Squadron, and the filmmaker Jeff Reichert.   

The event is held at the Dweck Center of the Brooklyn Central Library.

 The event is hosted by  the Progressive Association for Political Action (PAPA), New Kings Democrats, Prospect Heights Democrats for Reform, Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn,  Independent Neighborhood Democrats, the 57th A.D. Democratic Organization, Central Brooklyn Independent Democrats, Brooklyn Latino Democratic Club, and Manhattan Young Democrats.
