We posed the question to you, Patch readers in our neighborhoods in Brooklyn, which is the best place to grab that morning bite—and here are the results:
While it was a hotly contested race, La Bagel Delight on 7th Ave. was able to pull away from nearby Nairdre's Cafe—which was added to our poll by popular demand—and Dizzy's on 9th St. by only three votes.
Bedford Ave.'s Black Swan garnered the most votes this week, edging out Peaches and Tiny Cup on Nostrand Ave.
Urban Vintage on Grand Ave. eked out The General Greene on Dekalb Ave. by a single vote as the neighborhood's favorite breakfast spot.
With a mixture of votes and positive reviews (as per the Reader's Choice offical rules) the Crossroads Cafe on Prospect Ave. edged out the competiton for the top spot.
It was a close race, but Tom's Restaurant on Washington Ave. garnered enough votes to beat out Milk Bar on Vanderbilt Ave.
The hands down favorite, according to voting, was Cafe Luluc on Smith St.
Congratulations to the winners! Check back next week as we ask which is your favorite shop to grab a bottle of wine from.
