Where to Watch the Second Presidential Debate in Park Slope

Choose between these neighborhood staples to watch the President Obama and Gov. Romney face off at Hofstra.

 

It’s almost time for the second presidential debate—at 9 p.m. tonight President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney will duke it out on Long Island.

But, for those New Yorkers who will not be going to Hofstra University in Hempstead for Tuesday’s debate, here’s a list of local watering holes in Park Slope hosting viewing parties.

  • , 200 5th Ave, will be setting 30 TVs (out 105) to play the debate live in the restaurant section of their space. If you must know, the rest of the TVs will be dedicated to the Yankees game.
  • Union Hall, 702 Union St: Come watch the Second Presidential Debate downstairs at Union Hall. They will be projecting the debate onto their huge screen in the downstairs performance space. Featuring drink specials and plenty of seating for everyone.
  • Pacific Standard, 82 4th Ave: Drinking Liberally Downtown Brooklyn will host the debate viewing at Pacific Standard. Come for some good neighborhood drinking, a big TV and camaraderie. 
  • Dram Shop, 339 9th St: Come catch the debate on at least four TVs (you can catch the Yanks on the other TV and projector).   

You can also tune in while sitting on your couch, starting at 9 a.m.
