State of the Union Watch Party

Do you want some like-minded company while you watch President Barack Obama’s third State of the Union Address tonight? 

Join the neighborhood group Park Slope for Obama 2012 Tuesday Jan. 24 at on Fifth Avenue at the corner of 16th Street at 8:30 p.m.

Park Slope for Obama have been meeting at a regular basis and writing letters to democrats in Pennsylvania about the American Job Act and have been doing other campaigning.

“The State of the Union Address is a time for us to take a break, be together, watch the President and get an idea of the coming year,” Park Slope for Obama’s team coordinator, Jerry Polner said. “It’s a way for us to take a pause in what we are doing and reenergize ourselves to go forward with the campaign.”
