Irene Update: Flash Flood Warning Issued for NYC

Warning in effect until 12 p.m. Sunday

A flash flood warning was issued Sunday morning by the city's Office of Emergency Management and is in effect until 12 p.m.

The warning should come as no surprise as Brooklyn continues to get pummeled by Hurricane Irene, while also facing a tornado threat.

OEM is also urging people to stay inside, saying if you must travel, to excerise caution.
