Occupy Brooklyn General Assembly

Join us this Sunday to harness the Occupy Wall Street momentum here in Brooklyn and build our community.

The Brooklyn General Assembly, in solidarity with the Occupy Movement, will take place at the  Atlantic Terminal Plaza (in front of Target), at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue  and Fort Greene Place.

After the Occupy Wall Street eviction in Manhattan, 35,000 people marched across the Brooklyn bridge on Thursday and demonstrated that the movement is stronger than ever and unwilling to fade away as some politicians have been hoping.

Thursday afternoon, hundreds of people gathered at subway stops in Brooklyn and shared stories before joining the march at Foley Square. Later in the evening, hundreds more participated in a spontaneous general assembly in Cadman Plaza.
