Bill de Blasio Calls on Steve Buscemi in Park Slope Rally

Park Slope celeb voices support for mayoral hopeful.

Notable Park Slope resident Steve Buscemi joined Bill de Blasio's team for a rally in Park Slope Wednesday morning.

Buscemi again voiced his support for de Blasio in the mayoral race at the rally inside of Southside Coffee Shop on 6th Ave in South Slope.

The actor and de Blasio have a history of joining forces, heading to Breezy Point to speak with Sandy Victims and getting arrested while protesting Brooklyn firehouse closures back in 2003.

"He's been there for Brooklyn as a City Councilman," Buscemi said in a release. "He's been there for the city as Public Advocate. This is the man for this city. With Hurricane Sandy and the aftermath we are still in and we will be in, Bill understands that."
