At around 6:03 a.m. on Monday, a woman leapt off the top of a Second Street apartment building and died, an FDNY spokesman said.
According to the FDNY, the woman jumped off the roof of a building between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, was in her 40s and was pronounced dead on the scene.
