According an FDNY spokesman and witnesses, two people were stabbed late Tuesday night near the corner of Fifth Avenue and Ninth Street.

“I heard a lot of screaming,” Chris Dwyer said an hour after the incident, while standing outside of The Owl Farm, a bar on Ninth Street between Fourth and Fifth avenues. “And two minutes later it was lights galore with cop cars and two ambulances.”

Dwyer said a crowd of people were screaming by the McDonald's, next to the bar on Ninth Street, and if he had gone inside The Owl Farm a few minutes later he would have seen more.

"I saw cops interviewing a few people who all told them, ‘I don’t know anything,’” Dwyer said.

An FDNY spokesman said that the call for two people stabbed came in at around 10:17 p.m. on Tuesday. The spokesman also said that the victims, whose gender and age are unknown at this time, where both transported to Lutheran Medical Center.

The victims’ conditions are also unknown at this time.
