Police Blotter: Thief Steals $450 Wallet and $100 Bill from Flatbush Farm

Louis Vuitton Gone
 

A quick-handed crook stole a $450 designer wallet, $100 bill, and two credit cards from a Flatbush Avenue bar on April 19.  

The 22-year-old victim told police that she was sitting at the bar in Flatbush Farm near Flatbush Avenue with friends and placed her wallet in the inside pocket of her jacket and hung it up on the back of her chair at around 8:30 p.m. An hour later she checked for her wallet, but it was gone. The crook got away with the Louis Vuitton wallet worth $450, a $100 bill, and two credit cards. Later that night, her bank notified her that someone had charged $113 on one of her cards at an MTA vending machine. 

Man Without Van  

A thief boosted a green van from its parking spot on Third Avenue sometime between April 9 and 10.  

The 45-year-old victim told police that he parked his green Chevrolet van near First Street April 9 at around 2 p.m. When he returned to get his ride the next day at around 8 a.m., it was gone. Police said it was not towed.
