Thief Steals Belongings from Car Parked at Zoo

A thief snatched a goldmine of electronics, cash, jewelry and sports equipment, worth almost $8,000, from a car parked on Flatbush Avenue on Sept. 10.
The 54-year-old victim told police that he parked his gray Ford near the Prospect Park Zoo at around 11 a.m. and left it full of his belongings in U-Haul boxes and black garbage bags. When he returned to the car at around 1:10 p.m., he found no damage to the car, but the boxes and bags were missing. The crook got away with $300 in cash, $600 white diamond earrings, a $1,200 gold watch, a complete sound system with 100 CDs, an iPhone, laptop, printer sports equipment.

Toyota Stolen from Fourth Avenue
A carjacker boosted a car parked on Fourth Avenue some time between Sept. 9 and Sept. 11.
The 49-year-old victim told police that he parked his red Toyota on the northeast corner of Fourth Avenue at Fifth Street on Sept. 9 at around 5 p.m. When he returned on Sept. 15 at around 11 a.m., it was gone.
Crooks Steals Purse that Costs $5K from Car
A crook smashed the passenger window of a car parked on Warren Street and stole $200 in cash, a high-end designer purse, an iPad and a US Passport on Sept. 11.
The two victims, one 24-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman, told police that they parked their gray Hyundai between Fourth and Fifth avenues at around 3 p.m. When they returned at 6:30 p.m. they found that the passenger side window was smashed and their belongings were gone. The crook got away with $200 in cash, a $5,000 purse, an iPad and a US Passport.
