Crook Steals Cop’s Car

A thief boosted a cop’s personal car from its parking spot on Fifth Avenue sometime between March 3 and 4.

The 34-year-old victim, who is an officer from the 72nd Precinct, told cops that she parked her 1996 Honda Accord between 11th and 12th streets at around 10 p.m. on March 3. When she returned to get her car the next day at around 9 a.m., which had an NYPD plaque inside, it was gone.

A crook stole a car worth $46,000 from its parking spot on Dean Street between March 3 and 4.

The 36-year-old victim told police that he parked his 2013 BMW 328i on Dean Street, between Carlton and Vanderbilt avenues, on March 3 at around 9:30 p.m. When he returned to get his Beemer the next day at around 6 p.m., it was gone. There was no broken glass on the street. Police said that it was not towed or impounded.
