The Boyfriend Burglar

A woman’s boyfriend stole over $6,000 in computers, gold and diamonds from her Seventh Avenue apartment on May 14.

The 33-year-old victim told police that she left her apartment on the corner of 10th Street and was gone from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, she gave her 31-year-old boyfriend a set of keys to her home, and he told her that he would be at her apartment while she was gone. When she returned, she found that someone had looted the place for over $6,000 in electronics and jewelry and her boyfriend was not home. There was no sign of forced entry.
