That is because Bloomberg is consumed with more important things like limiting soft drinks. What an A-HOLE.

Kings County Hospital? Isn't the Methodist 3 blocks away?

@Joe- Good observation. However, Methodist is not a city hospital (it's private.) As far as I know, when a NYC ambulance responds, they take you to the closest city hospital. I'm not sure if it's life-threatening if they make an exception and if the victim requests a different hospital and it's close enough.

Joe Jonas...maybe you don't like Mayor Bloomberg, but...of the people who ran against him (and that's the important part), who would you rather have? Bill Thompson? Charlie Barron? Do you really think that they would have done a better job? Maybe I don't agree with everything he's done, but remember, the only perfect person was Jesus Christ...and He was crucified!

What police? We now have 8,000 fewer police than 10 years ago. And when they do respond, people are complaing about "stop & frisk" and their "rights" being violated. You can't have it both ways!!

And newbies like to say they've made this neighborhood safe. Actually, no, it's at an all-time worst when it comes to crime.

We probably won't hear any outcomes of the investigations (if there are any) here, but dollars to donuts the perp wasn't an Irish boy.
