Man Stabbed on F Train Platform

On Monday, a man was stabbed after he got into a fight on a northbound F train, which spilled onto the platform.

A 22-year-old Hispanic man allegedly stabbed a 30-year-old white man on the northbound F train platform at the Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street station on November 21, police said.

According to cops, a verbal dispute broke out between the 30-year-old and two Hispanic men, 22 and 18 years old, while approaching the station in Park Slope on a northbound F train at around 10:44 p.m.

The heated fight spilled off the train and on to the platform where the 22-year-old allegedly stabbed the 30-year-old man in his lower back, right leg and right hand.

The two suspects fled the scene, but were quickly arrested by police. 

The New York Post broke the news on Tuesday and reported that the victim was with his brother during the fight.

The victim was sent to Lutheran Medical Center and was released in stable condition, according to police.

The 18-year-old suspect has been charged with one account of assault and the 22-year-old was charged with one count of assault and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, police said.
