Man Robs Capital One Bank on Fifth Avenue

Police said that a Hispanic male wearing a blue polo shirt slipped a note demanding money to a teller and fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

A crook robbed a Capital One Bank on Fifth Avenue for an unknown amount of money on Monday afternoon, police said.

According to an NYPD spokesman, a Hispanic male who was wearing a blue polo shirt walked into the Capital One Bank, between 12th and 13th streets, and slipped a note to a teller demanding money at around 1:50 p.m. on Monday.

The man, who is approximately 20 to 25 years old, fled on foot in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
