Cops Continue Hunt For Subway iPad Thief

Cops have renewed their appeal for the public to help them identify a man wanted in connection with a subway iPad theft last month. 

On Friday, March 19, at 9:03 p.m., a man grabbed a 24-year-old woman's iPad from her hands and jumped off a Manhattan-bound Q train as it was about to leave the 7th Avenue Subway Station. There were no injuries, police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with short black hair who appeared to be, 20-30 years old, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and about 170 pounds. 

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (5477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274367 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
