Cop Injured in Park Slope Brownstone Collapse

Building, deemed unstable, has already racked up fines.

A brownstone on First Street in Park Slope was listed as unstable this morning, after an officer was hurt at the scene, according to police.

A call came in about the building at shortly after 11 a.m., police said, and a responding officer suffered a minor knee injury after falling in a hole at the site. 

The building is located on First Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues in Park Slope. 

According to the New York Post, the building had an open violation and had recently been fined $2,500 for a lack of building maintenance.
