Woman Raped in Park Slope; Police Searching for Suspect

A man forced his way into a 20-year-old woman's Park Slope apartment and sexually assaulted her Monday night, police said.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating an Asian man wanted in connection to the rape, which happened at 8 p.m. Monday in the vicinity of Prospect Park West and Union Street.

Park Slope Man Charged in Park Slope Gropings, Assault

Jesse Dailey -- the Park Slope man arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer after being questioned in a groping incident -- has been charged with three counts of sexual assault.

According to the NYPD, Dailey is charged with sexual assault in the groping of an 11-year-old girl Nov. 18 and the sexual assault of two other young girls in separate incidents dating back to September.

Police Investigating After Man Found Dead in Prospect Park West

78th Precinct police are investigating after finding a body at 95 Prospect Park West Sept. 22 at 10:25 p.m.

Police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man, and police arrived to find a 50-year-old white male unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded and pronounced the victim DOA at the scene. 

Cops Arrest Knife-Wielding Owner of Prospect Park Attack Dog

The owner of a pitbull that has been attacking dogs in Prospect Park for months was arrested Monday morning, police said. 

Donnell Barden, 42, of Foster Avenue in Flatbush, was arrested at 9:14 a.m. Monday morning on Foster Avenue near the corner of New York Avenue, and was charged with aggravated animal cruelty, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.

The arrest came after months of attacks by the dog, and by the owner, who would join in the fight with a weapon of his own, witnesses said.

Police Blotter: Luxury Car on Sixth Avenue Left on Blocks After Rim Heist

A crook stole four tires and four rims off a luxury car parked on Sixth Avenue sometime between May 30 and May 31.   

The 50-year-old victim told police she left her blue 2012 Infiniti in the care of a friend to watch while she was on a trip to London for the week. The 71-year-old friend told police that he parked the car between Prospect and Park places at 6 p.m. May 30 and all was intact. But when he went to check on the car the next day at 7:30 a.m., all four tires and rims were missing.

Four Teens Mug Two People on F Train in Park Slope and Kensington

The New York Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in locating four black teenaged boys wanted in connection with two robberies that occurred on the same day in the confines of the 66th and the 78th Precincts.   

According to the police, the first robbery occurred on Monday, April 8 at around 2:10 p.m. on the F train at Church Avenue subway station when four teens, between 16 and 17 years old, approached a 15-year-old kid and grabbed him, stated they had a knife, stole the victim’s cellphone and fled.  

Suspicious Package Found on Flatbush Avenue, Bomb Squad Finds Sheets Inside

According to police on the scene, the Bomb Squad found white sheets and blankets from the now-closed St. Vincents Catholic Medical Center inside the suitcase. 

Cops said that there were no hazardous materials found in the suitcase. Traffic is not blocked anymore and people are allowed back into stores surrounding the intersection of Flatbush Avenue, between Bergen and Dean streets.  

Five Men Beat Up and Mug Victim Outside Diner on Fifth Ave

Five crooks beat up a man in front of a diner on Fifth Avenue and stole his credit card, driver’s license, college ID and MetroCard on April 1.

Suspect Processed at 78th Precinct: Julio Acevedo Arrested for Killing an Orthodox Couple in Hit-and-Run

The suspect in the hit-and-run on Kent Avenue that left an Orthodox couple and their unborn baby dead on March 3, was formally charged with vehicular manslaughter, causing death of child passenger, leaving the scene of an accident, and criminal negligent homicide, the NYPD said in a statement.
