11 Injured in Bus Accident at Flatbush and Atlantic

The injuries were minor, an FDNY spokesman said. No other vehicles were involved.

Eleven people were injured this morning in bus accident near Atlantic Center, an FDNY spokesman said.

Just before 8 a.m., a bus was involved in an accident at the intersection of Atlantic and Flatbush avenues, sending 11 of the passengers to the hospital. No other vehicles were involved

All of the injuries were minor, and the victims were transported to the Brooklyn Hospital Center, Methodist Hospital and Long Island College Hospital. There were 11 other passengers on the bus who refused medical attention, the spokesman said.

The spokesman did not have information on the reason for the accident.

An NYPD spokeswoman said they did not yet have information on the accident. Check back for a possible update.
