Question of the Day: Favorite Toy of All Time

Which toy stands out as the best of all time?

For every decade, there were certain toys children clamored for:

  • 1940s: Bubble Solution, Little Golden Books, Slinky, Magic 8 Ball, Legos
  • 1950s: Mr. Potato Head, Play-Doh, Frisbee, Hula Hoop, Barbie
  • 1960s: Etch A Sketch, Lite-Brite, Hot Wheels, Playmobil, Slip ‘n Slide
  • 1970s: NERF Ball, Baby Alive, Rubik’s Cube, Stretch Armstrong, Simon
  • 1980s: Cabbage Patch Kids, Polly Pocket, Koosh Ball, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Skip-It
  • 1990s: Beanie Baby, Super Soaker, American Girl Doll, Tickle Me Elmo, Furby
  • 2000s: Bratz, Mindflex, Zhu Zhu

In the spirit of gift-giving, we want to know: What is your favorite toy of all-time? Was it a popular item, such as the ones listed above? Tell us in the comments.
