What's Closed This Labor Day

Unofficial end of summer puts a wrench in regular schedules.

Labor Day observances will lead to the closure of several institutions and suspension of services:

All city, state and federal offices are closed on Mon., Sept. 3.

MTA subways and buses will operate on a Sunday schedule on Mon., Sept. 3. Due to FASTRACK, there will be no No. 4 service from 42nd St.-Grand Central to Atlantic Av.-Barclays Ctr after 10 p.m. on Labor Day.

Labor Day is also a bank holiday so all branches and U.S. financial markets are closed.

The Brooklyn Public Library, including all local branches (the Park Slope Library the following week), will be closed Sept. 1, 2 and 3.

There will be no mail delivery on Mon., Sept. 3. All post offices will be closed.

Alternate side parking rules will be suspended on Mon., Sept. 3.

Museum of Contemporary African and Diasporan Art (MoCADA) will be closed Mon., Sept. 3.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden is closed on Mon., Sept. 3.

Brooklyn Museum is closed on Mon., Sept. 3.

If we missed something that is closed you think the neighborhood should know about, please add it in the comment section.
