Submission Period for King and Queen of Park Slope Dog Photo Contest Over

Come back on Sunday to see the top five Kings and Queens and vote for the best!

 

We got to hand it to you, Park Slope dog owners, for your enthusiasm in this year’s King and Queen of Park Slope dog photo contest!

Dog owners submitted 163 photos of their furrier halves! We cannot thank you guys enough for participating. Unfortunately, the submission period is over and our friends at ProspectBArk are now picking the best of the best.

Now the real competition begins: On Sunday, check back with Park Slope Patch to see the top five contenders for “King” of Park Slope and the top five for “Queen.”

From Sunday, Sept. 30 through Oct. 4, it's up to our readers to vote in the comments section of the article on the two pups (one male and one female) who will earn neighborhood wagging rights.

The two dogs voted by you as “King” and “Queen” will each receive a prize package worth $600 in sweet treats that include:

A six-pack of Zoe's Premium Pet Food, organic human-grade ingredients cooked in small batches by local Slope dog owner ($30), a vet exam and microchip from Park Slope Veterinary ($120), a four-week training course by Walk This Way at The Brooklyn Dog Training Center ($180), a professional pet photography session with Jenna Leigh Teti ($150), a gift basket from NYC pet.com ($30), a one-year membership to Prospect Park Alliance and a doggie daytrip with ProspectBArk Dog Walking and Pet Sitting ($90).
