Plans For New Third Avenue Boutique Hotel In The Works

Hotel Le Bleu's operator Globiwest Hospitality has plans for another hotel focused on "personalized service."

The Hotel Le Bleu operators have filed plans to build a boutique hotel on the corner of Third Avenue and Six Street, DNAinfo reported Thursday.

The city has not yet approved Globiwest Hospitality’s six-story, 58-room hotel. Still, Globiwest Principal Mukesh Patel is already saying that the hotel will be similar to Le Bleu, another hotel on Fourth Avenue that is currently for sale.

“It’s not going to be every other hotel,” Patel said. “It’s going to be a nice boutique property [with] way more than what La Quinta, Super 8, Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn Express offers. It’s more about personalized service.”

If approved, the hotel will be built on the empty lot at 399 Third Ave.
