Where to Meet Santa This Christmas

Make sure the kids get a chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas

Santa's a busy man this time of year, but he's making some time to come to Park Slope and around Brooklyn to meet children this season.

Here's a list of where he'll be stopping the next few weeks:

- The Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. hosts the 7th Annual Columbia Waterfront District Tree Lighting on Dec. 13, 6 p.m. at the Human Compass Garden at the intersection of Columbia Street and Sackett Street in the Columbia Waterfront District of Brooklyn. Santa will be in attendance.

- All this month, Fifth Avenue in Park Slope will be open late Saturdays for 'Festive Fifth', and from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Santa will be making stops along the avenue.

- On Dec. 14 the Santa Trolley hits Flatbush in Prospect Heights and Park Slope from 2-4 p.m. There will be free children's face painting at designated restaurants starting at 1-5 p.m and merchant sales and discounts at stores with the glitter red snowflakes in shop windows.

Ceol Irish Pub and Restaurant in Cobble Hill hosts Breakfast with Santa Dec. 21. Call ahead for two seatings at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. There will be brunch for adults and kids which includes a visit with Santa. Photos will also be available for purchase.

- The Brooklyn Lyceum Market at the corner of President Street in Park Slope hosts Santa on Dec. 21 and 22 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Get one free photo with Santa with a purchase from the market.

- First Presbyterian in Brooklyn Heights hosts a Santa Pancake Breakfast Dec. 14 with seatings at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
