True Play: Improv workshops for kids to take with their parents.

Welcome to True Play!

This is NOT a performance class. It’s also not a comedy class (you will laugh a lot, it’s just incidental).  Improv, the True Play way, is a communication and parenting tool that can change the way you work with each other. It’s also really fun.

Mommy and Me
(Kid aged 3-5 with Parent or caregiver)At this important age, when kids transition to “doing it themselves”, this class is an opportunity for parent and child to engage in imaginative play together. Build worlds and go on adventures without a single prop! The Improv games that we play emphasize:
  • Exploring creatively
  • Teamwork
  • Sharing attention and taking turns
  • Working gross motor skills and using their body to create fun and silly characters
  • Verbal and non verbal communication
  • Game play to build confidence in your choices
