THIRD ANNUAL INDIE MUSIC FESTIVAL RETURNS TO BROOKLYN'S ROCK SHOP
The Power Popaholic Music Festival will be returning to Brooklyn’s The Rock Shop on August 29th and 30th, 2014. The two day festival focused on melodic rock and power pop, features talents both local and from across the country. Performing at the event will be Chris Richards and the Subtractions, Evil Arrows, Rhino House Band, Corin Ashley, Lisa Mychols, The Whims, London Egg, Stephen Lawrenson, Eric Barao and Paul Bertolino
After the success of last year’s event, the festival has been expanded to two days. “We wanted fans to be able to enjoy more of the bands,” show organizer Aaron Kupferberg states. “We’re seeing a lot more fans at our shows enjoying the music because they learn about the artists at our site.”
Tickets for the event are on sale for $15 each day and Tickets are available online at http://bit.ly/fest-day1 and http://bit.ly/fest-day2. The Rock Shop is located at 249 Fouth Avenue in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. Started in 2006, Powerpopaholic.com is the premier music review blog for all artists who fit within the genre of power pop or melodic rock.
