PIRATE SCHOOL! at the WATERFRONT MUSEUM

PIRATE SCHOOL! Follow Your Compass

Imagine Pirate School!, the premier family-friendly pirate vaudeville in America performed in the magical setting of the historic Waterfront Museum, a floating nautical wonderland that's both a museum AND a fantastic, floating performance space!

Created by veteran NYC physical comedian David Engel, Pirate School! is a madcap, swashbuckling one-man family show that allows kids to live their dreams of the Golden Age of the Pirate while promoting everyday polite behavior and social courage.

With a mischievous blend of clown theater, cartoon-like sound effects, eye-popping puppetry, eccentric props, adept magic, slapstick antics and it's signature brand of boisterous full-audience participation, Pirate School! satisfies children’s universal curiosity of the briny Buccaneers of yore.

Featured in New York Magazine’s “BEST OF NY: KIDS!”  and beloved by thousands of families in the tri-state region, Pirate School! is led by the bumbling professor Billy Bones who teaches youngsters to be good pirates with zany lessons on how to stand, talk, sing and laugh like Buccaneers; cannons boom, skulls talk, cutlasses drop and critters cavort and the whole audience takes part in a grandiose sea-battle as a final exam! More info at www.mypirateschool.com
