Obsolete Cinema presents Double Hercules!!

Forget Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Our Summer Blockbuster Smackdown is doubling down with two of the greatest Hercules of all time: Brooklyn's own Lou Ferrigno and Mr. Universe himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger!

First, Ferrigno is a sci-fi'd out son of Zeus in 'Hercules' (1983). Giant robots, Olympus on the Moon, and Sybil Danning as Ariadne -- exactly how the Greeks originally told it.

Next, prepare yourself for the comic stylings of Arnolds Stang and Schwarzenegger (credited as 'Arnold Strong'). 'Hercules in New York' (1969) sends the hero to Lindsay-era NYC to sow his divine oats. The laughs come quick, Arnold's accent is thick, and it proves the old adage that 'if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere.'
