Kids and Guns: A Community Event

Attend this community event and explore the impact of gun violence on our children and how you can help prevent child access to guns. You’ll hear touching stories from people whose lives were changed by gun violence, then participate in a discussion with a panel of health and gun violence experts:

- Dr. Sheldon Teperman, Chief Trauma Surgeon at Jacobi Medical Center.
- Dr. Arthur Caplan, Bioethicist at New York University.
- Dr. Bindu Kalesan, Professor of Epidemiology at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health.
- Leah Gunn Barrett, Executive Director, New Yorkers Against Gun Violence.

Fee: $35; Two for $50. (Fee includes free membership in New Yorkers Against Violence, with proceeds used for advocacy and education to reduce gun violence.)
