Second Chance Toys is a seven year old organization that has a really interesting back story:
It was started by a then high school student who was tired of seeing perfectly good used toys thrown to the curb. She started collecting them one by one until her basement was full of them. She then enlisted her mom to help her clean them, and distribute them to local churches and other organizations, who served children in need.

To date, Second Chance Toys has donated more than 110,000 toys to needy kids all across the country. Our work this year becomes more important than ever before with the devastation of Hurricane Sandy right in the area that we call home.
