Einy Åm / EyeKnee Coordination creates pure dance performances as well as performances that merge dance, video and music in a seamless way, often by utilizing nontraditional spaces, actively choreographing with props, furniture and the architecture of a particular space, and thereby creating a surreal world for the viewers to find new meaning in. The work integrates movement with video work, vocals and live music, and seeks to question, inspire and motivate, through work that is delicate, clever and articulate, yet still accessible to the general public.
Introducing The Berger Sisters! This collaboration between fiddler/violinist Melody and accordionist/pianist Mariel has been a long time in the making. Mariel is an improvisational pianist/composer who took up accordion, Melody, a classically trained violinist/vocalist turned bluegrass fiddler. Together they explore music from around the world including cajun, klezmer, americana, jazz, brazilian, western swing and pretty much anything else they fancy. With enchanting harmonies, the sisters’ performance promises to delight!
