AWARD-WINNING ACTIVIST GULALAI ISMAIL TO SHARE INSIGHTS ON WOMEN BUILDING PEACE

An intimate conversation with
Celebrated Pakistani peacebuilder Gulalai Ismail

Gulalai Ismail was only 16 when she founded Aware Girls to advance women's

empowerment, gender equality, and peace in Pakistan. This month, she receives

the National Endowment for Democracy's 2013 Democracy Award on Capitol Hill for
her work fostering a new generation of empowered female leaders.

Don't miss this chance to hear Gulalai share her story with Peace Direct US

Chief Executive Brian Neff in a compelling conversation about the role women

are playing in the struggle for a more peaceful world.

Reception and light summer
refreshments to follow, with a silent photography auction to benefit  Peace Direct's partners worldwide.
